French visa applications
Tourist visa requirements for France:
- A valid national passport with affixed proof of uk residency(UK visa must be valid for 3 months after exit from France).
- A fully completed visa application form (click here to download directly from Embassy of France in London web site ).
- 2 passport sized colour photos on a WHITE background.
- A letter of UK employment stating position and lenghth of service(dated within 1 month of application for visa, on company headed paper).
- Proof of overseas travel insurance with a minimum cover of €30,000
- 3 months bank statements(originals plus photocopies.with name and address.
- Confirmed hotel reservations.
- Confirmed ticket for Airplane/Boat/Train/Bus.
- Vehicle registration and vehicle insurance,if travelling by car.
Business visas and for non UK passport holders:
- All of the above documents plus:
- A letter of invitation by a French company indicating the purpose of the visit and duration of stay.
